If you have the right workload you can push nearly 1.5GB/s of data through the card and hit random IOPS numbers of over 180K. What happens during periods of intense IO activity? The RevoDrive 3 X2 excels. The RevoDrive 3 X2 is over 2x faster than the 240GB Vertex 3 and with compressible data we're almost at 800MB/s for a single PCIe card. Read More →
With the Vector, OCZ has built a price and performance competitor to Samsung's SSD 840 Pro. Overall I'm impressed. It's a huge improvement over the already good Vertex 4, and manages to compete in a different league. OCZ's Vector appears to have the advantage when it comes to worst case performance and IO consistency. Read More →
The Vector 150 is a logical successor for the Vector...OCZ has managed to add enough improvements to the Vector 150 to make it a different product. The first one is IO consistency. While the Vector had good performance consistency to begin with, the Vector 150 takes that one step further. It's without a doubt one of the most consistent (if not the most consistent) SSDs we have tested and that's a big achievement. Read More →
