Ralph Schmitt - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Schmitt has served as a director of OCZ since April 2011 and was appointed as the CEO in October 2012. Prior to joining OCZ, Mr. Schmitt served as President and Chief Executive Officer of PLX Technology, Inc., a global provider of semiconductor-based connectivity solutions primarily targeting the enterprise and consumer markets since 2008. He has also chaired the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Emerging Company Council from 2010 thru 2012 and was on the 2012 GSA board of directors. During 2008, he consulted with a variety of venture capitalists, and acted as Chief Executive Officer of Legend Silicon, a privately funded Chinese terrestrial digital TV semiconductor company. From 2005 through 2007, Mr. Schmitt was Chief Executive Officer of Sipex, an analog semiconductor company that merged with Exar in 2007, where he was appointed Chief Executive Officer. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Schmitt was executive vice president of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for Cypress Semiconductor where he led sales growth to more than $1 billion while also overseeing the acquisition and integration of numerous companies. Mr. Schmitt serves on the board of PLX Technology, Inc. and has served on the boards at Cypress subsidiaries and other privately-held semiconductor and systems companies. Mr. Schmitt holds a B.S. of Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.

Rafael Torres - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Torres joined OCZ in March 2013 with over 15 years of experience as a senior leader in finance and over 10 years serving as CFO. Prior to joining OCZ, Mr. Torres served as CFO and Vice President of Finance for Capella Photonics, a privately-held firm selling optical switching subsystems, where he successfully raised new capital and developed a financial infrastructure to support a fast-growing start-up. From 2006 to 2008, Torres was the CFO and Vice President of Finance for Power Integrations, a leader in high-voltage analog integrated circuits for power conversion, where he led a financial turnaround that he successfully achieved. From 1999 to 2006, Mr. Torres was CFO and Vice President of Finance for PLX Technology, a provider of semiconductor-based connectivity solutions primarily targeting the enterprise and consumer markets, where he returned the company to profitability and significantly increased their cash position. Mr. Torres holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Alex Mei - Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Mei is the executive vice president and Chief Marketing Officer at OCZ and is responsible for multiple functions including strategy and solutions, and oversees corporate marketing and field marketing initiatives. Upon joining OCZ in 2004, he brought a decade of experience in brand and product marketing focused on consumer and component solutions in the channel, system integration, and the retail space. Mr. Mei has held multiple senior level marketing management positions in high-tech firms, most recently serving for 5 years as Global Marketing Manager for First International Computer Inc. Mr. Mei holds a B.S. in Marketing Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo University.

Wayne Eisenberg - Senior Vice President of Sales

With over 20 years experience in sales management, Mr. Eisenberg joined OCZ in January 2013 from Leyden Energy Inc where he served as Vice President of Sales, and is responsible for managing OCZ's global sales team and contributing to the company's fast paced growth in Enterprise, OEM and Client SSD markets. Mr. Eisenberg spent 16 years at SMART Modular Technologies, a developer of memory and solid-state storage subsystems, where he held various sales management positions, including Vice President of Sales, Director of North American and European Sales, Director of North American Sales, Director of Western Area OEM Sales, and Director of Channel Sales. Mr. Eisenberg has also held various senior sales management positions at other high technology companies including Toshiba America – Computing Systems Division and GRID Systems. He holds a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Business Administration from California State University at Chico.

Daryl Lang - Senior Vice President of Product Management

Mr. Lang is responsible for developing and executing the company's product management strategy as well as building and strengthening the company's world-class FAE team. Prior to joining OCZ in 2009, Mr. Lang served for eight years at AMD as the Strategic Alliance Manager focused on storage technology. In addition, he has held high level positions at other hi-tech companies including Aureal Semiconductor and Diamond Multimedia. Mr. Lang studied Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo University.

Jason Ruppert - Senior Vice President of Operations

Mr. Ruppert is responsible for operations at OCZ including overseeing the supply chain, implementing processes, product engineering, and manufacturing. Mr. Ruppert most recently served as the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering at Harmonic and has held multiple senior management positions at other hi-tech firms including Ciena, Nortel Networks, Broadband Technologies, and possesses over 20 years of R&D, manufacturing and operations experience. Mr. Ruppert holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a M.S. in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University.

James Tout - Senior Vice President of Worldwide Engineering

Mr. Tout has over 20 years experience in firmware and silicon architecture and is responsible for leading multi-discipline and multi-location teams that develop next generation SoCs and firmware for OCZ solid state drives. Mr. Tout joined OCZ in 2011 through the acquisition of PLX Technology's UK Storage Division and has previously held senior engineering and management positions at other technology companies including Oxford Semiconductor, Madge Networks and Racal Research. Mr. Tout holds a MA in Engineering from Cambridge University.

Cindee Van Vleck - Vice President of Human Resources

Ms. Van Vleck is responsible for recruiting and retaining the talented team of OCZ employees across all continents as well as overseeing corporate services, policies, and programs for the entire organization. Upon joining OCZ in 2011, she brought over 25 years of experience in human resources. Ms. Van Vleck previously most recently served for over ten years as Senior Director of Human Resources for VNUS Medical Technologies, Inc. and has also held multiple senior level HR positions at other companies including Amdahl Corporation and Kyocera International. In addition to being certified in HR Management, Ms. Van Vleck is a member of professional organizations including SHRM, NCHRA, NASPP and holds a B.S. in Business Administration – Human Resources Management from Excelsior College.
